Embryonic Echoes

Embryogenesis is a phase of development which spans the first eight weeks of gestation. The primary qualities of embryogenesis are emergence and mutability. An evolving wave of becoming, which lays down the primordia of all the vital components of the unified human body. Wholeness is always maintained even as differentiation into distinct anatomical parts takes place.

After birth, this embryonic way of being persists as a quality of vibrant flux which underpins wellbeing, from our first breath to the last. The focus of this seminar will be on expressions of radiant health and wholeness in the presence of abundant Potency.

We will explore

  • Blechschmid’s paradigm of metabolic fields, biokinetics and biodynamics
  • Embryonic developmental movements recapitulated in patterns of tissue motility of adult anatomical structures
  • Imprints re-defined - inertial metabolic fields and restoration of flow
  • Segmentation and nerve territories – central and peripheral connections
  • The whole-body brain - restoring equilibrium, realising potential
  • The hum of life in the depth of stillness
